MIDDLE SCHOOLERS SHOWCASE RESEARCH ON WWI

Waverly-Shell Rock seventh-grade World Studies students presented the results of their research into a variety of aspects of World War IIat a history exhibition in the school cafeteria Tuesday afternoon February 23. Students showed off charts, models, artifacts, photos and dioramas that summarized their research efforts. The students then enthusiastically explained their displays, demonstrating an impressive grasp of some pretty complex material. It was all very well done and appreciated by the many visitors on hand. We look forward already to next year's edition of this well-conceived and executed event.
