As part of the celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary, we will reflect on Bremer County’s past heroes who served our country. The evening will feature a guest speaker, local author Linda McCann, along with veterans sharing reflections on our history.

Members are invited to vote on the 2026 board and reflect on the successes of 2025. We look forward to welcoming you for this meaningful evening.

Come eat and support history at one of our multi-year fundraising events! A portion of the proceeds and all tips support the Bremer County Historical Society.
March 11, June 8th and August 17th 2026.

This program will take place starting May 1 and run through October 31. Register and recieve a book starring 25 historical locations within Bremer County. Complete the activity and recieve a stamp. Those that complete the booklet will earn a swag bag and be put into a drawing to recieve gift cards donated by local businesses.
