Rohlf Bedroom
Dr. W. A. Rohlf played an important role in establishing St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Waverly as one of the premiere medical facilities in Northeast Iowa. Dr. Rohlf is best known for his birthday clinics, which drew fellow physicians from around the state to Waverly for an annual exchange of information and a free clinic for area residents on his birthday. The bedroom suite is an excellent example of fine craftsmanship and elegant design. All furnishings in the room were owned and used by the Rohlf family for many years, then later donated by family members to the Bremer County Historical Society Museum.
